Abstract (at least 300 words to describe your proposal)

Poop Patrol is an alternative tool for finding typos and vandalism. I have been testing and developing it on the English Wikipedia in association with a succession of bot writers who have kindly turned my flights of fancy into code. I hope to use this year's Wikimania to show people from other language versions of wikipedia how this could benefit their language version of Wikipedia.

Poop Patrol is a good accompaniment for AWB. When I find a phrase such as "pubic school" that has few or no false positives then I get it added to AWB, but AWB can't be used to look at all occurences of pubic on Wikipedia because there are hundreds of correct ones. Poop patrol has a combination of safe phrases and safe pages that enables it to deal with probable typos and possible vandalism where the proportion of false positives is too high, sometimes much too high, for AWB. With AWB you can keep certain errors out of Wikipedia. With Poop Patrol you can elimiate another type of error from your wiki.
