- 10am Unifying global user accounts by Foundation developer User:Legoktm -- it was very challenging and took years and took guts; I've got notes
- Speeding up Visual editor, presented by Ori and Roan: it's largely in JavaScript/jQuery; HHVM is an underlying platform for processing PHP fast (I think) and didn't work perfectly for a while ; they had special attention from Paul Irish of google/chrome, a performance expert; VisualEditor pushes the boundaries of what had been done; they made many tweaks; Varnish/RESTbase, jQuery limits; chrome's developer tools were the best, and it is often fastest running Javascript, details are in my notes
